Turning a Static Client Database into a Living Opportunity Engine
Ownwell is a SaaS platform for Canadian mortgage brokers that transforms their client database into a continuously monitored source of new business. The design challenge takes multiple layers of institutional-grade financial data from different sources: live property valuations, prepayment penalty calculations, and rate comparisons — and surface it as a simple, actionable, prioritized UI "who to call and why", so brokers can trust and act on opportunities without doing any manual analysis themselves. The product is built around two parallel experiences: a broker-facing dashboard that ranks clients by real, time-sensitive opportunity, and a client-facing monthly report designed to feel personal and advisory.
Tooling to Map Cause and Effect for Canada's Impact Assessments
The Pathways of Effects (PoE) Navigator is an interactive tool that helps practitioners, communities, and stakeholders understand how major development projects — mines, pipelines, nuclear facilities, hydropower — ripple outward into environmental, social, economic, and health effects. The core design problem was making an inherently tangled, multi-jurisdictional cause-and-effect system legible to non-experts without over flattening its complexity. The solution is a node-based diagram canvas that lets users step through project activities and their downstream effect, letting users view what matters to them.
Storysnap's Multiple Video Agencies in One Project Management Interface
Storysnap is a B2B video marketing company that has multiple video agency departments. Their business is the same: creating highly professional marketing videos for their customers, but each agency creates specialized video types, such as testimonial videos versus product videos. This creates a unique understanding challenge in the project management app that helps their clients self serve, review edited videos, upload content or assets, or buy more credits.
Self-Building Contract Repositories for Legal Teams
Recital is smart contract repository for in-house legal departments that eliminates the manual setup traditionally required to organize a company's contracts. The design problem was speed and trust: legal teams need a complete, accurate contract repository, but conventional CLM tools demand months of implementation, manual uploads, and IT involvement before any value shows up. The product's UI reflects that "no setup" promise directly: a connect-and-go flow rather than a configuration-heavy onboarding wizard, with the repository populating and staying current on its own as new agreements arrive.
Real estate development managed on one platform
Aires is an end-to-end CRM built specifically for new home development teams — developers, builders, and sales agencies — who otherwise stitch together separate tools for lead generation, sales, marketing, and customer care. The design problem here was consolidation: pre-sale teams typically juggle disconnected logins and brittle integrations across the buyer journey, from first lead to closing.
